When will your new glasses be ready?

The length of time taken to prepare your glasses depends on your prescription and the lenses you have chosen. We'll always give you an estimated delivery time. If they're delayed for any reason, we'll keep you updated. Then, once your spectacles are ready and have passed the final inspection, we'll let you know and arrange a time for fitting and collection.

If you need your glasses urgently, we can sometimes provide a basic pair, within a few hours for your convenience.

In-house service

If your chosen lenses are in stock, we'll produce your spectacles in our laboratory as quickly as our high standards allow. If not, we'll obtain them as soon as possible. By having our own in-house laboratory, we can guarantee both high standards and that your glasses ready without any extra delay.

Final fitting

When you come to collect your spectacles, you'll have a final fitting. They'll be adjusted so that they're comfortable and don't slip. We'll advise you on how to take care of your new spectacles, when you should wear them and how to use them. You'll also receive an itemised account. If after a few days the frame has not 'settled' completely, please come in and we'll happily do a small re-adjustment for you while you wait.
