Design your own Frames ...

... with a little help from designer Tom Davies

I've always enjoyed offering frames that you won't find elsewhere. I'm therefore more than delighted to be one of the few stockists in the UK to have Tom Davies's unique concept in Tailored Frames.

These frames feature Tom's trademark, innovative combinations and shapes. BUT you can design your own frames by picking a part from one frame and another part, like the type of side or trim from another frame, choosing from a whole range of colours and changing the dimensions of any frame from his Ready-to-Wear Collection to achieve a unique frame to suit you, your prescription and your personality (and have your name lasered on the inside).

This is very much like having a Tailored suit made; Ray or Wendy, our dispensing opticians, will take into account all your features and prescription, just as a Tailor would, to make sure the final frame is balanced and fitted. The difference is that you would probably only wear a Tailored suit occasionally, whereas you would wear your Tailored Frames everyday.

Who is Tom Davies?

How refreshing to tell you that Tom Davies is a British frame designer and having learnt his trade on the factory floor of a startup eyewear factory in China from the age of 21, he has spent years designing frames for many of the top brands.

After achieving recognition for his innovative designs, he returned to the UK in 2000 and is finally designing under his own name, opening his own factory in 2008. His name has become synonymous with quality and style, using only the finest Japanese Acetate, as well as the material for which he is best known - titanium.

So if you are looking for a frame which is stylish, unique and comfortable you will like the idea of wearing Tailored Designer Frames. Call into the practice and Ray or Wendy will be able to guide you through the options.

The practice serves the local community of Stony Stratford and all parts of Milton Keynes as well as the surrounding villages and towns including Buckingham and Woburn.

It is in easy reach of north Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.
